Spent New Year's at a cozy hotel in the Bavarian Alps. the rooms were small but had all the necessary amenities, and the breakfast was scrumptious with a traditional Bavarian touch. the best part was definitely the outdoor swimming pool, which provided a refreshing dip after an adventurous hike in the nearby mountains. the icing on the cake? the breathtaking view of the mountains from the comfort of my bed. the location was perfect for outdoor enthusiasts, with a variety of hikes and peaks within easy reach.

The restaurant below, which caused smoke to waft into the rooms at night. It was too warm to close the windows, so it made for a less-than-ideal sleeping situation.
